Studying composition

There was this fun exercise, where we had to mute a movie and watch it. When an interesting plot came about we had to pause it and draw it quickly. About comic book pane size. And then unpause and pause again on the next scene and draw again....

..it kind of gave it a graphic novel look.. and also showed me how moviemakers plan on composition....

..I loved the exercise so much, I even tried it on a good simple scene..

A Plein air painting

.. I guess this would count as my first plein air painting! I have never been able to pull out my paints and brush, though I carry them around everywhere!

..this was when we went with Pras for his skydiving... which didn't happen that day, because of a change in weather just before he was scheduled to fly!!!
