we eat mangoes by cutting its "cheeks" then scoop the flesh with a spoon. and yes, they make canker sores sting badly. but they're great! that makes them sometimes sinful. hahaha.
Thank you Sue.. and Perrine.. We do that too; it depends on what variety of mango it is.. This one is sweet but not soft enough to be scooped up by the spoon.. Also, its skin is not bitter, so sometimes we relish that too - either as a fruit, or by making a pickle/jam out of it..
