Drew this a few days back... While Tanush was sleeping .. He has started noticing that paints make color marks on anything that they touch and that mommy has some lovely colors in a paintbox, and a few different bright colored pencils, a few pens that are colored.. He pulled out his own paint set (which my Mom in law and I bought for him, not knowing that he wasn't still old enough to use them...). Even if he's not old enough to use them, he is old enough to understand what they are and what he can do with them!!! :)

Thank you all :) !
Hey Shalini,
Nice work and blog. I like the composition and how the reflection extends the room further. And is that a Fisher take along swing chair? We have a similar one at our home too. :)
Thank you for visiting my blog and for reminding me about my earlier post. Here's the colored version. http://meenamurugappan.blogspot.com/2010/06/follow-up-on-week-3-day-1-sketch.html
Hope you like it. Would love to hear your feedback.

I really like this! I like the reflections, and the subtle colors you used. (oh, and you have very nice handwriting!)
Not so good when little ones know you are playing with the paint. I hope he will be happy to play with his and leave you to yours.
Thanks Raena... :) My handwriting keeps changing with whatever I am doing...LOL
@Freebird.. I hope he does that too.. I get scared when he tries to reach out for my paints and pencils..
i love this one :) i am more of a still life person than portraits and this is something i really love.
ooohhh...get set to wash your walls :) i hope the colors are the kind that are washable.
Hi Shalini,
I am truly bowled over with this work.. the mirror and the reflections are always a challenging subject to handle but you with your simple lines created an impression that seems to handled with ease, like it a lot!
I also loved your pencil sketches, very neat!
